About
"The experience and opportunities I've had over the years have given me the skills to make quality wood products that clients can be proud of for many years and generations to come." David LappRoyal Custom Cabinets was established in 1991 by Wood Craftsman David Lapp with the mission of making quality products through traditional construction methods using quality long lasting materials.
Our primary focus is Kitchen/Bath Cabinetry using Red Oak, Hickory, Hard Maple, Quartersawn White Oak, and others depending on the client's preference and project needs. We use USA made veneer core plywood and dovetail joints as needed for long lasting structural integrity. We are able to work with clients in Southern, Central, and Northern New York State, spanning from 1000 Islands region, to Rochester, and occasionally beyond - even to Martha's Vineyard!

David Lapp (the cabinet craftsman)
Interest in building with wood stemmed from childhood. During his young adult and college years, David gained experience while working for multiple companies in the northeast before establishing Royal Custom Cabinets in 1991. He enjoys working with Northern Black Cherry the most because it lends itself well to traditional furniture, which is his favorite design. He plans to continue making quality custom wood products that will last for years and decades.
"I enjoy many parts of woodworking, but the most enjoyable is seeing the final project completed and a happy client." - David Lapp
